Advanced Energy Storage Caucus

May 3, 2017 - 14:45 to 15:45 EDT

UPDATED TIME: 2:45 - 3:45 p.m.

ESA continues to be the voice of energy storage in Congress, and is working with our champions on the Hill for the re-introduction of the Advanced Energy Storage Caucus (formerly the Battery Energy Storage Caucus).

Supported by Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) and Rep. Mark Takano (D-Calif.), the Caucus aims to educate Members and their staff on the important role that energy storage plays in creating a flexible and resilient grid, enables further deployment of renewables, and how the industry can be a driving force in economic development and growth.

ESA is supporting the re-launch of the Caucus at an event on May 3rd, to be held from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the House Energy & Commerce Committee room (2123 Rayburn House Office Building). It will kick off with comments and introductions from the Caucus Co-Chairs, and include an overview of Federal policy priorities from ESA and some of our Leadership Circle members.
