The TCEQ is currently soliciting grant applications for projects focused on reducing emissions from facilities and other stationary sources in the state of Texas. The TCEQ will consider making grants to Advanced Clean Energy, New Technology, and Electricity Storage projects. Applications must be submitted by June 27, 2014, 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

For the current request for grant applications (RFGA), the TCEQ is soliciting applications for projects for:

  • Advanced Clean Energy projects
  • New Technology projects
  • Electricity Storage projects

Applicants should review the NTIG Guidelines and RFGA (PDF files) for detailed requirements for each project type and information about applicant eligibility.

Applications for either grant category must demonstrate a substantial implementation plan that maximizes the likelihood that the technology will be implemented in Texas as soon as practicable and demonstrates the applicant's ability to operate and maintain the grant-funded technology for the duration of the contract, including the five-year reporting period.
