ESA and More Than 150 Groups Urge Congress to Add Energy Storage Tax Credit to Infrastructure Bill
The U.S. Energy Storage Association today sent a letter urging Congress to include bipartisan legislation that would make standalone storage projects eligible for the investment tax credit (ITC) in the upcoming infrastructure bill. The letter was signed by a diverse group of more than 150 industry trade organizations, environmental advocacy groups, and small businesses across the United States.
Large environmental organizations that joined include the Environmental Defense Fund, National Resources Defense Council, League of Conservation Voters, Union of Concerned Scientists, League of Conservation Voters and National Wildlife Federation.
Major clean energy organizations signing the letter include the American Clean Power Association, Solar Energy Industries Association, American Council on Renewable Energy, National Hydropower Association, and Advanced Energy Economy.
