Nevada: 700 MW of Energy Storage by 2030!? An In-Depth Look at the Recent Economic Potential Study

Nevada’s energy future could include up to 700 MW of cost-effective energy storage, according to a study out last month from Brattle. The study, commissioned by the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada and the Nevada Governor’s Office of Energy, found that up Nevada could deploy up to 175 MW of cost-effective energy storage by 2020, and between 700 and 1,000 MW by 2030.
